For Mild Treatments, patients are encouraged to go home following the procedure and may return to work the following day as long as they remain indoors and avoid sun-exposure.

For Moderate Treatments patients are encouraged to go home following the procedure and take alteast one day off from work prior to returning to work. It is also recommended that patients remain indoors and avoid sun-exposure for 4-5 days.

Aggressive treatments have longer downtimes and recovery. Patients are encouraged to go home following the procedure and take alteast 3-5 day off from work prior to returning to work. It is also recommended that patients remain indoors and avoid sun-exposure for 5-7 days.

Does it hurt?

Depending on the level of intensity of the treatment and pain tolerance of the patient, patients may experience some discomfort during the procedure. For more aggressive treatments, a technician can provide a topical anesthetic prior to the procedure in order to reduce any discomfort.
